Recently, a large number of Oriental white storks flew to Caofeidian Wetland in Tangshan City, Hebei Province to rest and forage. The Oriental White Stork is a national first-class protected animal, known as the "bird giant panda". Every year from late October to late December, the Caofeidian Wetland, which is rich in fish and shrimp resources and has a good ecological environment, attracts a large number of Oriental white storks who go south to overwinter here to rest and forage.
